This salve is formulated for Better Bones.  It contains comfrey roots and leaves, which contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow as needed, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. Comfrey ointments have been used to heal bruises as well as pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, muscle and bone pain (calcium deficiency).  It contains DMSO, which is used topically as a carrier due to it's increased absorption rate to help to decrease pain faster and speed the healing of wounds, burns, collagen, muscular and skeletal injuries.
